How to Quickly Make a Network Marketing Presentation Site to Filter Your Leads and Have Prospects Calling You!
I've received a ton of e-mails about this since I posted my article so I thought I'd write the steps I took to get it done quickly and make it look professional.
STEP 1
- Gather information about the MLM business you are prommoting, pictures of product, pictures from their book about trips and prizes, their logo etc.
- Write a brief overview of MLM itself as a busniness model, what makes it special, benefits and features. Write an details about your Network Marketing business, history, product information, why it's a unique opportunity, pay structure, etc. All the information that would be needed for a person to make a sound decision about becoming involved with the company.
- Open up your Power Point program and arrange your work in a presentable fashion as you will be telling story. The tone should be matter of fact vs. salesy.
- Include pictures of product, company getaway pictures, picture of yourself if you want.
- IF you are having trouble finding good pictures or scanning images in you can go to Skelliewag's site and learn how to get and use free images for you site. Make sure the images you choose closely reflect what you are trying to convey and follow the guidelines.
- Once you have your Power Point presentation all done and saved have a family member (wife, mother, husband, cousin) or friend review it and give their honest opinon on your work. IF you can't trust them try a stranger or someone else you trust for honest feedback.
- Next download Snagit and Camtasia Studio 6, both from TechSmith and you get a 30 day free trial. Snagit is worth buying and I like it and use it do other marketing things on line or for presentations I'm asked to do for others. About $50. Camtasia Studio 6 is $300, but there are other uses for it like making your own personal videos, presentations, how to videos and having the full features is worth it. I did try another brand video maker that was free, but I never got it to work. Just a reminder, Camtasia it's not fully functional unless purchased, but for your immediate needs the 30 day trial will do just fine.
- Once you have them installed learn to use them. I'm not going into all the how to's because TechSmith does an excellent job with their how to videos. Once you have Snagit there maybe other things you want to add or change about your presentation and Snagit may useful.
- Make a script to go along with your presentation video you are going to create. Remember the Power Point was the outline, you are reading the details with your voice.
- Once you have everything together and have created a compelling presentation about your Network Marketing business, time to record it all and convert it to a file you can post on to your site.
- You may have to open and account with Viddler (no charge) to convert your video to an acceptable formate for use on line. It's quick and easy and free.
- Another source of software if you need it that has an excellent price is Journey Ed. BUT you have to either be a student or have a child who is a student, educator or non profit. They do require proof. But it is where I got my full version Adobe Professional 9 for $109 total with shipping & handling! And where I can buy a full version Adobe Flash Pro for $249.98 and yes, Camtasia Studio 6 is offered there for $179.98. So if you meet the above requirements, you can save major money. If you on a budget then do it as inexpensively as possible.
I will say recording your presentation takes a little skill and timing. It can be learned with a little practice so read your script a long with scrolling through your presentation before recording it a few times. I say use your own voice because when people call about your opportunity they want to speak to you, the voice they heard. Just provided a level of comfort and additional branding.
Another good service with minimal cost is Skype you can get a year service for under $70 (US and Canada calling) for unlimited calls at that flat rate. Not bad. Another good thing is you can use it to keep your personal and business separate and not use your cell phone all the time to make calls or your home line. Don't want the kids answering the phone accidentally.
STEP 2
- Okay now that you have your presentation all ready for prime time you have to build your website. GoDaddy has domain names at a good price and a good hosting service. You can get the economy Web Site Tonight and have it up and running in 20 minuets and you get a free e-mail account with that. I like it because if you have limited site building skills you can give them a call and they always help.
A word about picking a domain name. Make it good if you are going to mass market this site. It should have your network marketing business name in the title. IF you are just going to have it linked to your site and not promote it, I'd still have the company or product name in the domain name.
- Or you can get your GoDaddy domain name and set up your site on Gator Host. It's another easy to use site and they have video tutorials to help you.
- Once you have your site and domain name you are ready to build your page. I'd go with "Your Business Name Opportunity." Then the video, then at the bottom your e-mail address and or Skype phone number to give you a call. That's it. Don't forget the tags and page description
- Page 2 should be a link to your company's name site and additional e-mail and Skype phone number to you.
That's about it. Now I'm no site builder expert so please don't ask me html or hyper link questions. This is another quick site for html stuff and I have others but for building this site this is all I needed quickly. If you need something that isn't offered from either site Google by specifically asking for what you need. "How to bold in html" for example.
Now you don't have to follow this, use your imagination and let it shine, be creative, your goal is deliver information and compel people to call you about your opportunity. This is just one way to do a presentation video, you can come up with something else that fits you better.
Final note, network marketing business may have an excellent presentation and I'd say it's okay to incorporate some of it into yours but for branding yourself and setting you apart as a leader, you will have to add yourself to the mix.
The last thing anyone wants is to see is the same presentation 100 times on 100 other network marketers site. That won't make YOU stand out.
