Finding the Right

MLM Baby!

A few words about finding the right network marketing business you want to be in business with.  Sometimes excitement may get the better of you and your new endeavor but by the same token if you don't start, you will never finish.  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.

Now I say these two things because people sometimes start out full steam ahead and spend a lot of time getting started but never pull the trigger.  Sometimes we get bogged down with information overload.  The sheer magnitude of  MLM hype staggering.  It is enough to make anyone jump at any opportunity without thinking first.

However, You need to get clear about what you want, why you are doing it and if you are passionate about the MLM business you are starting.  And above all remember MLM is a BUSINESS, not a hobby.

Too many times people get into a MLM business not realizing they just opened up their own little business.  A business with tax liabilities and tax advantages.   A business that requires your time energy and effort to grow.

The First Step is to determine what MLM business you want to join and investigating that business to make sure it is worthy of  your most precious asset, your time.

Your friend asked you to join, you got a hit on Twitter about this new exciting opportunity, and your e-mail said people have made $200,000 in 10 days.  In addition, people are blowing up your Facebook wall with offers!  All enticing but is this the right opportunity for you and how do you know it is a good company?  How do you find the right MLM business for you?

  1. How long has the company been around?  An MLM is a business and most business fail in the 1st 5 years.  Do you want to waste your time, money, and effort?

  2. Are they well capilaitzed?  IF a MLM is new, they still need money!  They need to attract talent in management and pay your commissions.

  3. Are services or product unique?  Nothing wrong with being unique if they are offering a fair price for the product or service, it is good to have a unique selling proposition, but will customers buy it?

  4. Is it a fad?  You are building a business whose income can provide for you and your family will the product be around in 3 years?

  5. Immediate Income?  A good MLM should have a return on your financial investment (ROI) within 30 days.  Now granted it is up to you to market the product but it should not take 20 people to buy it for you to make your investment back either.  You need to build your marketing dollars quickly and fast.

  6. Commitment?  You are committed but is your upline committed to your success?  You invested in them they have to invest in you, training, closing business for you to help build your downline.  Recruiters seldom involve themselves beyond finding talent, Sponsors make a commitment to be with you and help you grow, coach you, and encourage you.

  7. Technology?  Is the company taking using the all the latest and greatest technology to your benefit so you can plug and play into the system, get training, learn the products etc.

  8. Full Time only?  IF you have responsibilities, you may not be able to start full time and have to go part time.  An opportunity has to fit your circumstances and grow as you do and be flexible to you.

The Second Step, open up a separate checking account for your business, if you are going for DBA, (Doing Business As) you don't need a tax ID for the business just have the banker open up the account DBA.  IF you are going to set up a LLC or Get INC'ed, then you need the correct paper work.  IF you have an accountant they have access to the necessary paper work and get tax your ID's for you for a small fee.  IF not, then using the services of The Mack Financial Group (or a company like theirs) to set up your company properly will get you off to a good start.  The advantage of The Mack Financial Group is they can also help build your business credit.  Another business credit builder service is Business Builder Enterprises.  They offer 2 options, a do it yourself service you pay the fee, you follow the steps and you get your business credit built as fast as you work it.  On the other hand, you can pay them and they do it all for you.

The Third Step is MLM training.  Do you know the top sales people still go to training by other top sales people? Education has value and if you are on a  budget  build your business, you still need to learn how and to build your MLM business quickly.  Go to the MLM Training page, you will have resources you can use, some free some of nominal cost to help you in building your MLM business quickly and effectively.  The MLM training material will put you in the right path to start adding MLM distributors to your downline immediately and start  earning money in your business in a few short days.

The Fourth Step will be to pick one or two marketing methods or strategies and build upon them.  Trying to do too many too fast you will wind up overwhelmed your marketing efforts falling short.  Remember you are not trying to win a race but build a business that can sustain you and provide you with a source of income.     next
